About Louis

Louis Armstrong was born on the 2nd May 1995 in the seaside town of South Shields, where he grew up for most of his life. Louis's birth name is Louis Philip Wilson, but not having a strong relationship with his father and wanting to put 'Kevin' somewhere in his name after the death of is brother, he legally changed his name via deedpoll to Louis Kevin Armstrong. For years Louis Armstrong had always told his family when he turned 17 he wanted to start raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust on behalf of his brother who passed away in 2004 due to Cystic Fibrosis at the age of old 17. Louis and his brother who was called Kevin were inseparable, Kevin was always a boy that wanted to be somewhere getting dirty or out with his friends enjoying himself, and 99% - 100% he dragged his little brother Louis along. Louis used to hate the fact he could never see his friends it as always "Come on your coming out with me today" and out he got dragged. Louis says looking back on it now, them days were the best in this life. When Kevin's time came it really hit his family hard, poetically Louis. Louis was 8 years old at the time of Kevins passing. Louis had said he thinks that his brother Kevin would be over the moon and so proud of him for doing all of this charity work, raising money and awarness to help others like his brother. Louis says everything that life decides to throw at his he is only going to throw back harder, quoting "No matter what happens I know my Kevin is right at my side, this gets me through everything that life has to offer me, I'll make people proud, poetically my Kevin".
